Súčasťou off-programu festivalu AZYL SHORTS 2022 bude aj české komorné jazzové trio Treetop!

Akordeonista Vojta Drnek, trombonista Richard Šanda a kontrabasista Michal Šelep - toto unikátne zloženie nevzniklo z potreby prísť za každú cenu s niečím šokujúcim, ide predovšetkým o prirodzené zoskupenie troch ľudí, ktorí si hudobne aj ľudsky rozumejú a vzájomná spolupráca ich inšpiruje. Pôvodný autorský repertoár tria je rozmanitý, spája vplyvy jazzu, ľudovej hudby, klasickej hudby i kompozičných postupov súčasnej hudby.

Ich debutový album Treetop (Animal Music, 2021) je oceňovaný českými i zahraničnými publicistami, získalo nomináciu na cenu Anděl v kategórii jazz a druhé miesto v ankete Českého rozhlasu - najlepší jazzový album roku.

Na ich koncert v Záhrade – centre nezávislej kultúry sa môžete tešiť vo štvrtok 6. októbra o 20:00.

The part of the off-program of AZYL SHORTS 2022 festival will also be the chamber jazz trio Treetop!

The accordionist Vojta Drnek, the trombonist Richard Šanda and the contrabassist Michal Šelp - this unique composition didn't come into existence by the need to bring something shocking no matter what. It's about natural alignment of three people that are on the same musical and personal level and their mutual cooperation inspires them. The trio's original repertoire is diverse, it connects influences of jazz, folk, classical music and composition techniques of contemporary music.

Their debut album Treetop (Animal Music, 2021) is getting attention from Czech and foreign publicists, it got nominated to Anděl award in jazz category and got 2nd place in survey of Český rozhlas - best jazz album of the year.
